The Twisted R Ranch is a fully funtioning Cattle Ranch with one minor difference....... we don’t sell cows. They are a part of us, they are part of our family.
Here at the Twisted R we breed, raise and train our Cattle to star in Movies, TV shows and special events.
A recent article in Star Magazine stated: “If Hollywood gave Oscar’s to animals, the cow’s at the Twisted R Ranch would need another barn to store all of their awards.
Talent magazine simply said that “the Cows at the Twisted R ranch are Moootastic actors, and should have a star on Hollywood blvd”.
So the next time you see cows on a tv show or in a movie or music video you can bet that they are a part of the Twisted R Ranch.
We are a Proud Partner Ranch with The Ranch Foundation. We foster rescued animals and provide other services to support The Ranch Foundation. The money our Twisted R Cows earn is used to support The Ranch Foundation. We donate a minimum of 30% of their earnings to The Ranch Foundation. The remainder is used to support and pamper our Twisted R Bovines.
Miniature Angus
Pictured here are Miss Abigail’s pride and joy Faith and Atlas the first two miniature Angus bovines on the Twisted R Ranch.
Miniature Angus cattle can be found lounging about the pastures of all three of the Twisted R Ranches. They stand from 32 to 42 inches tall when full grown.
Miniature cows make the perfect pets. They love attention and want to interact with you and will love you just as much as you love them. They take a 1/3 of the feed that at full sized cow does and are more docile, making them easier for children to feed, handle and show. Every one of our miniature cattle has won numerous awards.
Texas Longhorns
Our show cattle are proven winners. They are trained with love and compassion. They love to perform and show off their awesome horns. Here on the Twisted R Ranch we have several Texas Longhorn bovines with horns spanning over 100 inches tip-to-tip. Our longhorn bovines have championship bloodlines linking them back to the original five herds.
Millennial Futurity
Twisted R Longhorns are Genuine Texas Longhorns Registered with the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America and Millennial Futurity. Their bloodlines trace back to the Original Five Longhorn Herds.
Pampered Pets
All of the Longhorns on the Twisted R Ranch are loving, docile members of the family. They all follow Miss Abigail around like big puppy dogs anxious for their turn to be groomed and pampered.
Our Latest Addition to the Ranch
Meet Oliver
We are now raising registered British White bovines. Pictured here is Oliver a British White bull calf born on Labor Day. The British White is one of the oldest breeds in Britain with direct links with the ancient indigenous wild white cattle of Great Britain. This breed originated from Whalley Abbey, Lancashire. British Whites have a confirmed history dating back to the 17th century, and now you can find them at the Twisted R Ranch
Oliver's Mama was a dry heifer (meaning she didn't produce any milk). So, Oliver gets special attention, loving and bottles from our ranch owner, Miss Abigail Rich.
