Abigail Rich - Owner/Manager
Most people know that the Twisted R Ranch is owned and managed by International Supermodel Abigail Rich. Abigail has graced the cover of over 228 magazines worldwide, walked countless fashion show runways and is a Playboy Playmate in eight countries. Her Success as a Model has afforded her the ability to live her dream of being a cattle rancher. What most people don’t know is that Miss Rich has been in love with bovines since she was 3 years old. One of her very first stuffed animals is a cow named Moo that she still has to this day. Miss Rich attended and graduated from a Catholic High School. When the Priest found that Miss Abigail was not in class, they would call her Mama who knew just where to find her stray little girl. We bet you guessed it, she was in the neighbors pasture brushing and feeding their cows. Through the years nothing has changed her love for cows. She has shown them in state and county fairs taking first place every time. Miss Rich designed our brand and has every certification there is for working, showing and training cattle. She set the pace and took the Twisted R to where it is today. She demands that each Cowboy and Cowgirl has and maintains the same training, knowledge and love for cattle that she has.
Montana
Located deep in North Western Montana is the newest addition to the Twisted R Ranch, 168,000 acres of forest land, beautiful pastures and of some of the sweetest green grass In the world. This is where our show cattle graze along with deer, elk and other wildlife.
Wyoming
In central Wyoming is 26,000 acres of land where we grow the worlds best Coastal hay for our show cattle, horses and our customers. You Just won’t find better Coastal hay anywhere in the world. Our Wyoming ranch was the second addition to the Twisted R Ranch.
Texas
They say that you can take the girl out of the country but, you can’t take the country out of the girl. The Twisted R Ranch deep in the heart of Texas is the very first ranch bought by Miss Rich so that she could raise, train and breed show cattle. The Twisted R ranch in Texas is where it all began and has even been featured in many of our Supermodel owner/manager Miss Rich’s photo shoots for several international magazines. At 10,000 acres and lots of beautiful Cows, horses and other wildlife it’s easy to see why those who have had the honor to visit the Twisted R ranch here in Texas call it God’s country.
